What is “DESIGN TOKYO PRODUCTS AWARD”?


DESIGN TOKYO PRODUCTS AWARD is given to the most “marketable” design products among the exhibits at DESIGN TOKYO that passed the screening.
The award has raised great attentions of the industry, attracting not only the buyers but also major magazines, TV shows, newspapers, etc.
Both winning products and entrees are extensively promoted to the industry prior to/during the show. 

Screening Policies

 
In order to respect the concept of the show and to maintain high quality of exhibits, DESIGN TOKYO establishes the Screening Committee,

composed of specialists working in the design/interior industry, and only those who are approved will be able to exhibit at DESIGN TOKYO.

How to Register for DESIGN TOKYO PRODUCTS AWARD

 

Only products from DESIGN TOKYO 2019 exhibitors are qualified to enter.
Please request exhibiting information from below.

Winning Privileges

  1. Exposure at the Special Gallery
    Award winners, including the Grand Prix winner, will be revealed at the Special Gallery.
  2.  Entitled to use the official Award-winner logo
    The official logo will highlight the exhibit at DESIGN TOKYO, as well as at retail shops.
  3. Media exposure
    Winners will be introduced in leading Japanese TV shows, magazines, newspapers and websites to attract attention from industry professionals and the consuming public.

Admission fee: JPY 5,000/person without this ticket. Those under the age of 18 are not permitted to enter.
